John Valente asked me to help him create a logo and business card before he attended an appraisal conference he was speaking at. There's a certain type of bar graph used in his industry that we modeled the logo after. Because he appraises commercial properties, I thought it would be interesting to have the graph also look like a skyline. John already had this shade of blue in mind for the dominant color of the card. He also wanted a no-nonsense font.
