I did lot's of research trying to find out what that really cool retro-futuristic aesthetic you see in Tomorrowland and The Jetsons is. Lot's of people online say it's midcentury modern, but that's not quite it. What it's really called is Googie (when referring to highway roadside architecture) or Populuxe when referring to products. I think I captured that aesthetic with this design.
I was the best man in my brother's wedding. For his "bachelor party" we took him to an arcade/bar. I created this 16-bit portrait of him to wear to the event.
